high praise indeed!

The first ever crampon-compatible brasher boot, the Aso is a Gore lined 3/4-season model with a suede/synthetic upper.
brasher are well-known for their comfortable boots, but the Aso is made on a slightly narrower last than you would normally expect.
This suits me no end as I always find their traditional boots a bit too broad for my feet. The sole unit is stiff enough for step kicking and the toe bumper is beefy enough to protect both the upper and your toes. The sole unit is aggressive and quite deep, so it’s great on its own. I reckon the Aso’s could be mated with a C2 crampon-both models would be suitable-and as I mentioned before, the Aso still retains the comfort expected from a brasher boot-high praise indeed!
