Keith Rickaby, Gear Editor of Climber comments after rigorously testing the new brasher Borgue GTX:

"Borgue uses the brasher Tri-Fit System which uses a variety of little tricks to provide fit and stability, but one of the coolest is the use of memory foam to offer good comfort levels throughout the day."

"When I wore them for the first time, I did wonder whether an old niggle on my left foot was going to cause problems, but after a while the feeling disappeared and I ended the day seven hours later without any discomfort or fit issues at all.  In fact, my feet were in good nick after the hard, unrelenting surfaces the Borgues were being worn over."

"The Vibram Winker sole unit provided great grip on wet, slippy surfaces.  At £110 the Borgues aren't a bad buy at all.  They've got comfort and grip angles sewn up and they also look good enough that they shouldn't get you thrown out of a bar at the end of the day."
